Gone - Summary

In a startling instant, the world transforms when every person over the age of fifteen vanishes without a trace. The small town of Perdido Beach becomes enclosed in an impenetrable barrier, leaving the remaining children to fend for themselves in a rapidly deteriorating society. As food supplies dwindle and social order crumbles, some teenagers begin developing supernatural abilities, adding another layer of complexity to their struggle for survival.
